Description
LOW POVERTY INDEXSummary
The low poverty index captures poverty in a given
neighborhood. The index is based on the poverty rate (pv).
The mean and standard error are estimated over the national distribution.The poverty rate is determined at the census tract
level.InterpretationValues are inverted and percentile ranked nationally. The
resulting values range from 0 to 100. The higher the score, the less exposure
to poverty in a neighborhood.
