Cadastral riparian maps of land grants and leases, Ocean County
Description
This set of five maps consists of block print and hand written maps on paper-covered linen. Map 1 shows Barnegat Bay along the mainland of Ocean County and the southern half of Long Beach Island. It also depicts a partial index to more granular maps of the area. Map 2 shows a complete view of Barnegat Bay along several counties of the mainland and the entirety of Long Beach Island. Map 3 shows Barnegat Bay along the Ocean County mainland and the northern half of Long Beach Island. Map 4 shows Point Pleasant along the Manasquan River. Map 5 shows Toms River township and Island Heights along Toms River. The maps are torn and have damaged edges.
