Surficial geological map of the Branchville quadrangle, Sussex County, New Jersey
Description
Contains surficial geological information on the Branchville quadrangle, which lies within the glaciated Valley and Ridge Physiographic Province in Sussex County. Most of it is within the Kittatinny Valley, with a portion on Kittatinny Mountain. Surficial materials in the quadrangle include glacial drift, alluvium, colluvium, talus, lacustrine sediment and swamp deposits of late Pleistocene and Holocene age. The document includes maps, summaries, tables, and sections.
