Egg Harbor City map 1857
Description
Map of Egg Harbor City as projected by the Gloucester Farm and Town Association. Community is mapped in a grid pattern with the last names of each shareholder in the property assigned to each farm. Map also designates green garden areas at the Northwest and Southeast sides of the town. The Atlantic Railroad line is also noted on southwest side of the map. A long paragraph noting purchasing terms and prices for each land share is printed below the title heading. This title and paragraph is reprinted on the same map in German.
