Abstract
This polygon data layer represents school districts for Colorado in 1991. The dataset was originally published by the Colorado Department of Local Affairs-Division of Local Government in 2005.[The export file schoolbd.e00 imports into a coverage with statewide school district boundaries. These boundaries were developed in 1991 under contract with the Colorado Department of Education for inclusion in the National Center for Education Statistics, U.S. Department of Education's Census Mapping Project. The boundaries were constructed from legal descriptions of each school district. These boundaries received rigorous quality control.]
Purpose
This layer is intended for reference and mapping purposes and may be used for basic applications such as viewing, querying, and map output production or to provide a basemap to support graphical overlays and analysis with other spatial data
