Detached from U.S. 24th Cong., 3rd Sess., 1838-1839, S. Doc. No. 49. 'The red shaded lines show the exterior six miles limits on each side of straight lines drawn from New Albany to Corydon' to Princeton, Ind., to Mount Carmel, Ill. that show the approximate route of the proposed railroad. Figures indicate the number of acres of land that are 'unsold or otherwise unappropriated' and the number of acres 'sold or otherwise appropriated within townships and parts of townships embraced within the red limits.' Scale not given. Made at the Gen'l Land Office under the resolution of the Senate of the 12th December 1838.
