- This data represents lakes less than 50 acres Wisconsin in 2019. [These lakes are PriorityNavigable Waters under the State of Wisconsin's Waterways Protection Program. Priority Navigable Waterways include lakes less than 50 acres, waters with self-sustaining musky, sturgeon and walleye populations, tributaries to and rivers connecting naturally reproducing populations, and perennial tributaries to trout streams.]
- Purpose
- This data is intended for reference and mapping purposes, and may be used for basic applications such as viewing, querying, and map output production, or to provide a basemap to support graphical overlays and analysis with other spatial data. [This dataset contains information on lakes in Wisconsin classified as Priority Navigable Waterways which are less than 50 acres.]
