Abstract
This data layer represents addresses for Portage County, Wisconsin in 2014. It is a feature class within the geodatabase, Portage_Addresses_2014.gdb. [This is a point representation of building addresses designed for reference and geo-locating.]
Purpose
This layer is intended for reference and mapping purposes, and may be used for basic applications such as viewing, querying, and map output production, or to provide a basemap to support graphical overlays and analysis with other spatial data. [This file contains point data representing buildings placed based upon aerial photography. The points are attributed with address information with both County names and 911 ani/ali verified names. The points are also attributed with emergency service numbers and municipality.]
