Abstract
[This polygon dataset contains the twelve Cooperative Educational Service Agencies (CESA) in the state of Wisconsin in 2017. Cooperative Educational Service Agencies are intermediate service agencies that provide programs, services, and resources to a region of school districts in the state of Wisconsin. This dataset was assembled using county-derived school district boundary data and school district information from the Department of Public Instruction website. CESA numbers are associated with each school district and are current as of 2017. The school district boundaries in this dataset are dated 2017 because they do not reflect boundary changes that will take effect July 1, 2018.]
Purpose
[This polygon dataset contains the twelve Cooperative Educational Service Agencies (CESA) in the state of Wisconsin in 2017.] This layer is intended for reference and mapping purposes, and may be used for basic applications such as viewing, querying, and map output production, or to provide a basemap to support graphical overlays and analysis with other spatial data

[This layer is the result of aggregation procedures implemented over school district boundary data provided by Wisconsin's 72 counties. Each public school district in Wisconsin is located in one of twelve Cooperative Educational Service Agencies. CESA attribute information was included in the Unified School Districts Wisconsin 2018 and Secondary School District Wisconsin 2018 layers. The two layers were merged into a single layer and then dissolved based on CESA number resulting in this final layer.]
