Abstract
This data layer represents recreational trails and stream networks for Richland County, Wisconsin in 2018. It is a feature class within the geodatabase 'Richland_Trails_HydroLine_2018.gdb'. [Obtained ATV information from Kevin Jasper of the Dayton Ridge Runners ATV/Snowmobile Club and from Dustin Wanless in 2018. He went to many meetings with the townships, county and city boards. Trout stream information came from the DNR. Bike information came from various biker groups and common knowledge. Snowmobile trails data came from the local snowmobile group and were confirmed in 2018.]
Purpose
This layer is intended for reference and mapping purposes, and may be used for basic applications such as viewing, querying, and map output production, or to provide a basemap to support graphical overlays and analysis with other spatial data.
