- This data layer represents parcels for Rock County, Wisconsin in 2012. It is a feature class within the geodatabase, “Rock_Parcels_2012.gdb”. [Created to assist Assessors in value determinations of Real Property in Rock County. Sources include, Certified Survey Maps, Subdivision Plats, Condominium Plats, Plats of Survey and Deeds recorded in the Register of Deeds Office. Drawing techniques include COGO and heads up digitizing from Aerial Photography. Parcels are depicted using the most current information available.]

- This layer is intended for reference and mapping purposes, and may be used for basic applications such as viewing, querying, and map output production, or to provide a basemap to support graphical overlays and analysis with other spatial data. [For use by Local Assessors in Rock County. Duplication of this data is prohibited without the written consent of the Real Property Description Department. This data was prepared pursuant to Section 70.09 of Wis. Stats. using public records. It is not intended to be a substitute for an actual field survey and is advisory only.
