- This dataset contains 4 Band (RGBI) digital orthophoto imagery in two regions of Minnesota: Aitkin, Anoka, Benton, Carlton, Chisago, Kanabec, Mille Lacs, Pine, Sherburne, and the northern portion of Washington counties in East-Central Minnesota, and Fillmore, Goodhue, Houston, Olmsted, Wabasha, and Winona counties in Southeast Minnesota. The orthophotos are 0.5-meter ground sample distance (GSD) and are in UTM Zone 15, NAD83 (meters). The tiling format of the imagery is based on a 3.75' x 3.75' quarter quadrangle with a 150 meter buffer on all four sides. This metadata record was created by MnGeo using information supplied by DNR and Surdex Corporation., The orthophotos are used by Minnesota DNR for forest management., Flown between September 30 and October 6, 2011.
