- This dataset estimates the water-table elevation from three primary sources: depth to water table in saturated soils from Natural Resources Conservation Service data (which are converted to elevation), elevation of surface water bodies, and the static water elevation in water table wells with verified locations. With the use of a 30-meter DEM derived using LiDAR data, depth to water table is derived from the water-table elevation., This dataset was developed to provide a statewide estimate of water-table elevation and depth to water table, for use by the public and state regulators for planning and modeling purposes., Data were obtained in 2015 and re-evaluated in January 2016. NRCS soil survey, DNR Water Features, and Minnesota County Well Index data were complete and accurate in 2015. National Wetland Inventory data is based on 2010 and 2011 digital aerial photos and was last updated in 2015. Stream Routes with Stream Types were regenerated in 2013.
